About Us!
At The W5 Ranch, we consider ourselves a hobby breeder. We love these dogs and everything that this breed encompasses. We hold ourselves to high ethical standards and only breed only once per year.
Our dogs are AKC registered with 4-generation pedigrees. OFA certified, DNA tested and clear of hereditary markers.
We do not participate in showmanship or competition of any kind. Our dogs are family members first and champions in the field second. We breed for temperament, trainability, hunting instinct, and traits that make for well-rounded family companion.
*GSPs are a high-energy breed that require substantial exercise, stimulation, and continuous training. It is important to read up on the breed to ensure they will make a good fit for your lifestyle.
Puppies will be AKC registerable, have their tails docked, dew claws removed, deworming and vet checked with their first round of shots. They will be extremely socialized spending their first few months surrounded by young kids who love up on them daily. Their last week with us we begin crate training at night to make their journey home less stressful, as well as introducing the pups to bird wings, this ignites their prey drive and love for birds!
Pups go home with AKC registration forms, a blanket, collar, and a small bag of food to get you through the first couple of days at home, 3 months of free pet insurance, and helpful other resources.
Rate: $1700
Deposit: We require a $500 non-refundable and non-transferable deposit to hold a selected puppy.
Payments: Cash, Venmo, Gooddog.
What goes into these fees?
- Whelping Equipment
-Blankets and toys
-Collars
-Food and supplements
-Cleaning supplies
-Puppy vet bills for: dew claw removal, tail docking, first round of shots, and vet check.
-Dam vet bills for: Pregnancy confirmation, Ultrasounds, clearance for breeding, DNA testing, during and post-labor checkups.
-Stud fees
-Wear and tear on the Dam's body
-Utilities: supplemental heat, lights, and water for 8 weeks.
-AKC marketplace & Gooddog fees.
-And of course, all of our time that goes into these guys for 8 whole weeks!
Reservations
We accept up to 6 reservations ahead of delivery.
These reservations are held with a non-refundable $500 deposit.
If a litter does not contain the desired gender or enough pups to fill the reservations you've selected you will be refunded.
*Refunds only applies to puppies reserved prior to whelping.
